Well, there is a new complaint now, June 2nd, 2015. On June 1st, Egged charged me NIS 53.60 for a 2-way pass, apparently charged the return on the card going out, and left no way to get back without making me purchase another card NIS 31.50; I complained to the driver first and he provided me a number. The following afternoon I went to the information booth in Karmiel and complained there and they were insulting - denying the obvious claim on a very ridiculous basis; and finally, I filed the claim on the web and made a few contacts.
I have the complete ticket proof that I have not scanned yet; the complaint filed itself is attached.
I have an email documenting the full text, and I am awaiting the update from egged tomorrow. I contacted one other rider and he suggested that I let the driver know next time who double charges me to take back the double charge.
I still have the old issue that when I went to the information booth, the supervisor there blamed the Rav Card. He said it did not have my picture on it. Well that was because the Rav Card with my picture was broken with the units on the bus occasionally not reading correctly the card versus the pristine unit in the office always reading correctly... he still refused to give me a new Rav Card with my picture on it. The solution to that is to simply make the claim that the old one is lost, but that is not proper on Egged's behalf, and I am a little resentful about the company's behavior, but thankful that I get wonderful rides generally speaking.
